Since updating to Spotify 8.5, the music stops playing over Airplay devices after a brief second of sound, but the “play” / progress indicator / song count continues to play without sound.
ALl other apps, iOS sounds, and alerts will successfully play through Apple TV, Airport Express Audio speakers, etc. but NOT Spotify.
Definitely a bug in the 8.5 release as no other changes have been made to either device, and older versions of Spotify continue to work fine on other iOS devices on the same WiFi network.
