[Update] iOS Beta Users

Currently the iOS Beta 6.9.0 is about to expire in Testflight. Therefore our beta-testers who have the latest 6.9.0 installed won't be able to run the Spotify app very soon. 

Please download the Spotify for iOS app from the App Store (version 6.8.0) to continue using Spotify. 

We will let you know when we have an update regarding the next Beta iOS version.

Filling out the app does not mean you will be accepted right away. Slots are limited, so next time the app developers are looking for more testers which is usually a few times a year, you will get an email from TestFlight (Apple's beta testing program) saying you have been accepted.

Sorry for the confusion.

You are not supposed to get a response.

I was selected for Beta but I don’t have the beta app, how do I get it?

Hey @user-removed

You will need to search the iOS app store for "TestFlight" download it and make sure you are logged in with the same Apple ID the invite was sent to. Then open the link that was in the invite email (open it on the iOS device) and it should take you to the TestFlight app to install the beta.

Go to the App Store, and search for the TestFlight app:

Download the TestFlight app and launch it and login with your Apple acocunt.

Open this invite email you got on your iOS device, then tap Start Testing. This will launch TestFlight and show you the app you need to test. Tap Accept, then Install, and wait for the app to download:

The app will be downloaded and appear on your home screen! It will ask to overwrite the Spotify app you already have installed. Click accept and it will install over the app you already have keeping app data and settings in place.

That was the hardest part of being a tester. From now on, whenever a new version of this app is available, you’ll see a notification from TestFlight or an email. All you need to do is update your app and run the latest version to beta test. In the TestFlight app you can choose how you want to receive notifications.
