Updated Spotify App on IPhone but says I haven't and won't let me play music.

Updated Spotify App on IPhone but says I haven't and won't let me play music.

I have recently updated the spotify app on my iPhone, but when I try and play any of my playlists or music or go offline, it pops up saying I need to update to get these benefits! It works on another device I have it on but not my iPhone, it's supremely annoying- what's going on?

Update or upgrade? If it says you need to upgrade, you have logged in with the wrong credentials. Try logging out and back in with the credentials you use on your other devices.

Update, as in the newest version, I log in with Facebook on all devices so it should be the same? It's not working on them anymore either 😞
