Version update drains iphone 5s battery

i hold a premium account

my spotify updated on monday to version 3.3.0.1640  and ever since then it has been draining my battery of my iphone 5s.

I always put it on offline mode and before monday i had no issues but after the update even though the settings are all the same and make sure there are no background apps running it drains my battery

today my phone lasted 3 hours before it ran out of battery and all i did basically was listen to music off spotify

it used up 50% of my battery in the last 4 hours.

please fix this

Similar problems on my iPhone 5.  The battery has been terrible since June/July, not sure which update.  But iOS blames spotify... see below.
