While hearing Spotify in car over Bluetooth, calling and Siri doesn't work!

Sorry for my bad english...:-)

I have the Pioneer car tuner FH-X700-BT and it works really fine. But i have a big problem, when i'm hearing music over the spotify app Bluetooth connected.

The radio has a "Voice Control" function which activates Siri over the HFP Profile, but while hearing music from Spotify, and i'm activating Siri or want to phone call, the Bluetooth HFP Profile crashes and nothing works! I have this problem only while Spotify running, all other music apps are working very fine and phone calling or Siri is no problem!

Is that an Spotify app bug or have i something to configure?

I think it might be a bug, have you tried different things to determine if its spotify or maybe the Bluetooth profile?

I am having the same issue. I have a Scion Xd which comes stock with a pioneer head unit. The issue doesn't occur with the built in music app on the iPhone.

When I press the home button on my phone, I hear the Siri beep sound but then it just starts playing the music again and I can't get Siri to respond for a while.

Issue still occurs with ios 7.0.1 and an iPhone 5s.

Was this actually getting escalated?

Well it was in the past, but it appears iOS 7 has brought in some new issues.

iOS 7 in car issues are being tracked (and details collected) on this topic.
