My Question or Issue

How do we edit the 'Recently Played' lists in the iOS app?

In the previous version, you could edit the playlist and delete individual songs/albums in the 'Recently Played' list - including user created playlists. Can we please have this feature back?

Additionally:

The 'Recently Played' list has now been moved to the 'Home' section of the iOS app.

I think it makes more sense to have a tab in the 'Playlists' tab:

'Your Library' > 'Music' > 'Playlists' > 'Recently Played'.

'Recently Played' lists reflect user's current interests and should be treated like all other user created playlists.

Hey @schmagician, welcome to the Community.

Hope you are doing great!

At Spotify, possible improvements and new features are often being tested. This means you might see something on the app your friend doesn't, or get a brand new feature for only a temporary period.

Things tested could include the next generation of security protection, or new ways to listen. It's also a way for Spotify to introduce new features, and fine-tune the app to be compatible with specific devices.

If you don't like the changes though I’d suggest starting a new thread in the Community Ideas Exchange.

This’ll allow users, Stars, and Moderators to vote and comment on it.

Have a nice day! 🙂
