Why can't iPhone playlists play the newest songs FIRST? Why? Why??

This problem is persistent and it is absolutely incredible it hasn't been fixed yet... I have been reading all the tech posts about this problem from 2014 and there still hasn't been a fix! Insanity. All we need is to be able to make a playlist play in the LOGICAL order, with the newest added song FIRST and so on. Seems like the most basic function a user would need, and this basic function is present on iTunes and a million other streaming services, but still not available on Spotify on the iPhone!! Beyond aggravating and frustrating, please, for the love of God, get this problem resolved soon. We've been waiting for years!
