Wi-Fi problems

My Spotify app on my phone does not like using Wi-Fi, but enjoys using up my mobile data. Using spotify on my desktop with my Wi-Fi works fine. Can I have some help resolving this issue with the app on my phone? Thanks.

Sorry this was meant for Android.

It looks like the problem here is that your phone cannot connect to the wifi rather than a problem with the spotify app itself. I suggest you check the configuration in your access point (wifi) and see if there's a limit of device connections. Your phone should get an internal ip if not it'll use mobile data.

I should mention my other apps are able to use the Wi-Fi. Chrome, Pandora, Twitter etc

Have you tried to disable mobile data and have just wifi connection and see if spotify works on your phone. If it does maybe it's something else that is eating your mobile data maybe another app.

Yes I have. If I have both Wi-Fi and data on, I will get the message saying
no internet connection. If I turn Wi-Fi off, the app will work using my
data.

That's kinda weird. If other apps use the wifi, spotify should use it too.Try data off / wifi on.

Nope, same old story. It's very weird.

Post a screenshot of the message you get on your phone.

I have installed and reinstalled with no success.

It works when I go to my mum's and connect to her Wi-Fi.

I think that the offline option is active. Go to dettings and disable it.

The app came right after two weeks of packing a sad. I didn't change anything.
