Your Music=Offline Access?

I'm new in this forum, so take my apologies if this thread already exists. 

I'd like someone to clarify something for me real quick. When saving albums to 'Your Music', Spotify appear to be automatically syncing songs to offline mode when connected to wifi and there seems to be no way to disable it. I just want to use this as a fast way to access my library, but I don't necessary want to sync everything to offline mode. Is this expected or is there something I am missing?

Go to the songs view and make sure the available offline slider is not switched to "on"
