am i able to listen to spotify from my apple watch 3 via my wireless earpods??  i have the app on my watch but it does NOT play??

That shouldn't be a problem. We suggest you check out this guide from Apple on how to pair your watch with any Bluetooth headset, including their AirPods.

If you're still having trouble, can you confirm that you're not experiencing this issue when listening to other audio outside of Spotify?
