changing payment. help!

My roommate has an iPhone and her Spotify is payed for through iTunes. I got her a ecard subscription for Christmas and she is trying to cancel her iTunes payment and use the ecard but it won't let her. What do we do? We tried to cancel her subscription, didn't work. When we followed the link for the card it says you are already subscribed to premium. What do we do?

To cancel your subscription, you need to cancel it from iTunes. Your subscription is being handled by Apple.

 

(when you cancel, you will keep any remaining premium time that is left)
