downloaded songs show as not downloaded

My Question or Issue

i was downloading around 6 songs and when it got done half of them played while the other half said its not downloaded even though it had the green arrow indicating that the songs is still downloaded. i tried all the steps again even redownloaded the app but the same songs still wont play.

Thanks for posting on the Community and welcome 🙂

In this case, we recommend you to start off with a clean reinstall of the Spotify app on your device. By doing that the app can be up-to-date and you can make sure the cache is not leading to this inconvenience. You can see the steps for a clean reinstall here.

Once you've done that, make sure the downloads are set to normal quality. To check it, go to Settings > Audio Quality > Download > if not, set it to Normal. Try to download again and let us know how it goes.
