hidden (blocked) artists

Today while listening to music I discovered that I was playing an artist that I blocked...

So immediately went to Hidden section (blocked artists) and saw that all my hidden artist were gone.

It got me very disappointed as I blocked over 500 artists that I can’t listen to, don’t want to, or just not interested in whole genre... and they just disappeared.

I listened to playlists that were perfect for me and now it’s just ruined. So I need manually add them again.

I had a similar issue back then when it’s was first introduced, for an example I blocked Billie Eilish and closed the app , it was fine for that day. 

And the next day the artist also disappeared from the list so I kept blocking it like for an week. And I just gave up until it got fixed somehow after months...

Very upset about this... since i’ve been using premium since 2017.

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!

Can you give us a bit more info and we're going to look into this:

• Is this happening only on your phone or on multiple devices?
• Have you tried performing a clean reinstall of the app? This is always helpful as sometimes app cache can get corrupted and cause issues. You can follow the steps in this guide.
• You Device OS version and Spotify Version

Hey there,

Thanks for the quick response.
It got fixed somehow, I didn’t block any artists when it happened that day.
After two days I looked back into it, and the artist list was back up with hidden artists.
I don’t know what exactly happened, maybe a bug or something... furthermore I’m happy, got it back.
