Hey there @pqb,

Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome.

If when listening to an album, content continues to play after it finishes, there are a couple of things you can check:

  • Make sure the Autoplay feature is disabled. When you reach the end of an album, Spotify automatically plays similar songs so the music never stops.
  • Make sure you have not queued any other album or playlist. You can clear the queue, by locating it and following the steps in this article. You can hit the Clear queue button to see if you notice any difference.

If this behavior persists after checking this, it’d be awesome if you could send us:

  • A more detailed description of what exactly is happening on your side.
  • The exact Spotify version you’re running.

Keep us in the loop!

Version 9.0.91

I could not find the settings to check the autoplay, however I have it set to off on my computer; should it not sync between devices?

Thanks

Hey @pqb,

Thanks for your reply.

We can confirm that the Autoplay feature does not automatically sync across all your devices. You’ll need to turn it on/off in each device, depending on your preferences.

If you’re using connect to control the playback, keep in mind the app will take into consideration the settings of the device from which the playback is coming from.

If you cannot find the option on your iPad, try these steps:

  1. Tap your profile picture at the top- left.
  2. Tap Settings and privacy.
  3. Locate the Playback section.
  4. Scroll down to and locate the Autoplay similar content option and switch it off.

If perhaps you cannot find this feature on a different device, please send us the make/model and OS of it.

We’ll be around, so let us know how it goes.
