First I'd like to say that I really like the new app, especially the more modern appearance makes it pretty awesome. I suppose it'll get even better once the 'My Music' feature is released to the public.
The only thing I found a bit annoying is that the album cover in the 'Now Playing' view is of pretty poor resolution (especially when compared with the one in the Lock Screen view, see attachments). I don't know if this is a bug or aimed (for whatever reason, apparently not to save space because the high resolution image is, as mentioned, still shown in the Lock Screen), but I think that a higher resolution album cover would really emphasise the fresher, modern design.
