iPhone 5s will not appear under Devices when connected

When I connect my iPhone 5s to my computer using a USB cable, it does not show up under the Devices tab in Spotify on my desktop. Is there an easy fix for this?

You can't sync iPhones or iPod Touch's with Spotify using a cable I'm afraid. You need to connect your desktop Spotify and your device to the same WiFi network to sync.

Oh I see, so the cable connection is only for iPods that are not iPod Touches then?

And yea, I'm going to have to wait until I can find a private Wifi network to connect to until I can sync. It won't work over my University's wifi apparently.

What if your pc connects to the internet via a network cable, not wifi? My pc doesn't have a wifi-card.
