iPhone Timer

For some reason now, when I choose "stop playing" for the end of a timer, instead of stopping my Spotify song, it resets it to the beginning of the song and keeps playing. This didn't use to happen, only started this week when I got AB update. Is there a fix for this? So the timer just stops the music, without restarting and playing it... Or better yet, a sleep timer feature on Spotify would be great.
