iPhone USB connector in car stereo.

I just bought a 2012 Sonata SE 2.0T and it works via Bluetooth or the USB cable for iPhone.  The problem is that the Bluetooth allows me to skip songs using the steering wheel controls, but doesn't sound as good as the USB connection.  If I plug it in via USB, I have to skip songs from the iPhone itself and can't skip songs using the steering wheel controls.

Does anyone know a workaround for this or might this be from an upcoming Spotify update?

I know this probably won't help but in 2011 Hyundai Tucson it worked fine for me when I tested. And I drive everyday old BMW with Dension iPod kit and also it works great.

You were able to change the songs using the USB cable rather than Bluetooth?  Mine still only changes the songs from the steering wheel if I'm using Bluetooth, it won't work if I plug it into the USB cable in the car.

I have a dension gateway 100 for my VW Touran / RCD510 and I can't change songs directly from the radiocontrol either.
