iPhone X: Spotify is allways offline

Hi

 

Since a couple of weeks I'm struggling with Spotify. The app shows allways offline but there is an internet connection (doesn't work with 4g and Wifi).

 

I've tried everything I could find on the internet (re-installing, shutdown, close Bluetooth etc.)

But the problem still exists.

 

I'm using Spotify since years and it's really frustrating not be able to use the app on the go. 

Does anybody has an idea how to solve this? Because my next step would be to switch to apple music 🙂

That's not cool! Could you send over a screenshot of how things are looking on your end? Also, are you using a VPN, proxy or something similar?

Yeah, definitely not cool 😞

Of course, you can find attached a screenshot.

 

No, I'm not using any proxy.. Just the normal cellular network but it doesn't work with Wifi too.

Hmm, that looks odd! Could you make sure you’re on the latest version of iOS? Also, what provider are you using for mobile data?

I have updated iOS right now, still the same problem.

I'm based in Switzerland (provider is Swisscom)…

 

It's weird, because Spotify is working fine on Desktop and on the Sonos system.

Just on my phone it doesn't work..

Hmm, that's definitely odd! Just to make sure, does this also happen with other iOS devices on the same network? Also, could you try using a different account (e.g. from a friend/family member)? Let me know how you get on! 🙂
