iPod Touch Still Does Not Play Spotify Songs

Hello.  I have a fifth generation iPod Touch and I posted a message on here, under a different account, about the program not playing songs when I tap on them, but they play when I tap on them using our iPad Air.  I was told to do a reinstallation of the program, which I do not know if I did.  I removed the program from the device and then reinstalled it, using the device.  Is that what I was supposed to do to do a reinstallation, or do I have to go and sync my iPod Touch and then reinstall the Spotify program?
