iphone 6 music skipping and pausing when on the move

iphone 6 IOS 10.0.2 user, and when i am on the move even with the phone in 'lock' mode, my spotify keeps skipping and pausing every second.  Problem has been getting worse over the last couple of weeks.  Only happens when i am on the movie, and happens via wifi or 4G network.  I read a similiar post which said to delete and reinstall the app which i did and problem remains.  Any ideas what is going wrong? Basically can't listen to Spotify anymore when on the move.  I am a premium pay subscriber.

This is happening to me on my iPhone 5.  I'm also premium.  Did you get any help?

Yes I worked out the problem was with faulty iPhone headphones, nothing to do with Spotify or the iphone itself

what!? this is crazy! so it stopped when you stopped listening with iphone headphones?
