iphone, ipad, macbook---I can no longer save albums to "your music"

Why can't I save albums anymore?

In the past when I've had this problem, I deleted a few of my saved albums and then I could save new ones.  This hasn't been working anymore--of course at $10 a month I don't undestand why there would be a limit to this at all.

I've read a few conflicting statements regarding the 10,000 song limit.  Is that per playlist or per user?  I wonder why the app can't tell me "you've reached your limit, delete something to add something."  My longest playlist is about 2,000 songs, while most of my other playlists don't even reach ten songs.  Saving albums to "your music" is my preference.

I've updated operating systems, deleted and reinstalled apps, nothing is working.

How does one deal directly with Spotify?  That certainly doesn't seem like an option.
