long list of unwanted devices in "Devices Available"

My Question or Issue

 I am listening to Spotify on my headphones at work. I just clicked on "Devices Available" and there is a long list of Google Chromecast and AirPlay devices that are in my office.  I have never connected to any of these devices, nor do I want to.  Is it possible to NOT have Spotify detect devices, and only add devices that the user is explicitly adding?  I don't want to accidentally connect to one of these devices and freak someone out!

Thanks for reaching out to us about this - we'll be glad to answer your question.

If there are devices which are on the same network as your iPhone, they will appear on Connect. Unfortunately there is no way of changing this. 

However, if you like, you can create an idea in the Ideas Exchange here and get others to vote for it. If it garners enough votes, then Spotify might consider implementing it!
