my local files wont work. Ive done everything on my phone, and computer

I downloaded my mp3 files, put them into the spotify folder, turned on the local files. And either the song wont let me play, or it wont even appearn entirely. I tried on my computer, put them in multiple folders to double check. And they still wont pop up.
