"Spotify for IOS 4" app and AirPlay

Sorry if this question has been already asked, but I'm unable to find it.

I have an iPhone 4 with IOS 4.3. During a recent travel, I've had the chance to try the AirPlay system sending radio streaming from some dedicated apps (e.g. TuneIn Radio) installed on my iPhone to an AirPlay device, and it worked fine.

Now, back at home, I'm considering purchase my own AirPlay device, but I'd would like to send music from Spotify too (besides from radio streaming), so my question is: does "Spotify for IOS 4" iPhone app work with AirPlay?

It certainly should. Airplay support has been featured in the Spotify iOS app for quite a while.

Same issue,  on my ipad (ios 6) airplay works fine.

On ly iphone (ios 4) airplay icon just doesnt show. Tried rebooting router and iphone, no result.

Anyone any clue (except upgrade iphone to ios 6)?
