shuffle play on apple?

Hello i just bought an ipod touch and so i logged in my account which was made on an adroid. I was wondering y is it still on shuffle play like it was on android? Just asking because a friend of mine told me that when im using an apple, i get to choose what i want to play not like the setvices i got on an android. Pleasee help me. I do really love spotify and it would be very amazing choose what i want. tho im not on premium

Free accounts are limited to the shuffle play in the mobile apps. The only Apple apps that allow you to play without shuffle play is the iPad and Mac apps.
