songs don't show in iPhone app

I have followed some artists on spotify and I am able to listen to the songs on my Macbook. But when I use my iphone Spotify app, I notice some artists I listen to on the Macbook won't appear on my iphone app. It will shows I am following the artist, but shuffle play will be greyed out and no songs appear on the list. I also tried to add those songs in particular in a playlist, again on my Macbook I will be able to play them and see the songs. But when I use my iphone app, those songs will not show up on the playlist. It will show "want to add songs to this playlist?"

Hi @adely,

It seems like these missing songs are local files from your Macbook. If so, you should just open the playlist in your iPhone. Tap on a greyed out song. A message will pop up saying you can sync it from your computer. Go for it. A 4 step message will appear telling you how to do it.

But it doesn't even show anything on the screen.

That sounds weird. I've just tried following this same artist and then opening it on my iPhone and it works just fine. All the songs from the new album showing up.

Does it only happen with some artits? 

Could you try reinstalling your mobile app?
