songs updating on "made by spotify" playlist

I have the latest Spotify app and I use the "made by Spotify"  playlists. 

I do not use Cell Data when I leave the house, so the playlists are downloaded to the phone. 

My issue is that the playlists update automatically with new songs and if it starts to do it as I am leaving the house, there are a lot of songs not downloaded which limits the playlist. 

I am looking for a way to control when the playlist updates so that when I leave the house I am not limited to the songs that didn't update. I hope this makes sense.
