spotify connect speaker volume increases when phone disconnects

When I walk out of my office and wifi signal is lost shortly, the Spotify Connect speaker being controlled from my phone increases volume to 100% abruptly. This happens every time I leave the room and is very scary to experience for my coworkers.

Yes, you are not alone! On re-entering the app the volume of my soundbar or my external speaker switches to a window shattering and eardrum killing 100%. That is WAY TOOOO LOUDDDDDDD. Get real people! This is happening for a few days now. And I thought that the point 5 increment issue of a few months ago was a nuisance. HAH, little did I know

I am experiencing a similar issue. Volume on my Bose speakers (using Connect) jumped to 100% twice when opening the iOS app after a phone call and once while using the Mac desktop app. On iOS, I have version 8.8.16.653, and on macOS (Intel), version 1.2.6.863.ge7902f05.

Seems to have been fixed with my last update of March 15! Pfew

It’s happened to me a lot of times on my demon receiver and speaker. It blew one of my speakers of my receiver. Not using Spotify connect anymore.
