Hi there,
I have been a Spotify Premium subscriber for 4 years (almost to the day).
I have seen on Facebook that you are offering NEW customers 3 months of premium for 99p. Sounds fantastic, and I can see the logic, get them on board with a low price and they might well stay as customers.
This has got me pondering however, why am I still paying £9.99? Why do I not cancel it and look to your competitors, why do I not cancel it and open a new account for 99p? Why should I have to?
Looking at the comments posted on the your Facebook ad - my thoughts are the same as all of your other subscribers. As a premium customer I am feeling pretty under-appreciated right now, where is our loyalty reward?
Spotify, what can you do for us? Long time premium subscribers that have spent hundreds with you over several years and not seen an offer, discount or reward yet? In other industries it is the norm, even if it is just for signing up to a contract you get a better deal, it is like that with mobile phone companies, TV, internet. Heck even ENERGY companies (the diabolical tyrant of the utilities IMO).
Where is our pat on the back Spotify?
Regards,
Greg
