Hi all,
i want to point out that your shuffle algorithm is not only "not perfect" but in comparison to most other programs it is just not there.
I do have playlists of 16 songs, around 500 songs oder 3k songs. If i start one of them with shuffle the app/desktop program there are 50 tracks which are played at most as spotify is creating a "virtual playlist". As an extreme but actual example:
The playlist with 16 songs packs 10 songs in this "virtual list" and plays them. if i have on repeat they are repeated and the other ones ignored. if i play them WITHOUT repeat the 10 songs are played and then it stops (no autoplay activated as it gets other artists mixed up in the playlist which is not suitable). if i press play again the EXACT same 10 songs are played in the exact same order. This is no shuffle mode. It's a joke.
Why is it so hard to to a proper shuffle mode like Windows Media Player? It is pure frustration to have a list for a single artist with e. g. 100 songs but only being able to hear 20 of them in shuffle...
Are you going to fix this anytime soon?
Kind Regards
Siggi
