Something not working with the Spotify app after a new release? Please give us your feedback!
There are two parts to identifying, solving and forwarding issues.
- Please follow the below troubleshooting steps to see if you can resolve the issue on your own
- If troubleshooting doesn't solve your issue, please use the template below to give us your feedback.
Troubleshooting steps
- Open Settings and start Application Manager
- Look for Spotify and tap it
- (FYI, this will remove all downloaded Spotify data from your phone)
Press "Clear Data"
- Uninstall the Spotify app
- IMPORTANT: Completely turn off your phone, then turn it back on again
- Open up Google's Play Store, locate Spotify and install it again
- Start Spotify, log in and have a look if your issue was resolved
If the issue remains:
- Use the search function (top right) to see if anyone has recently reported anything similar to your issue.
- If you find that your issue has already been reported, please go to that topic and reply that you are experiencing it as well.
- If you did not find a similar topic, continue to step 11
