Please provide this information so we can investigate again:
Samsung Galaxy Note 3
I think those tracks where synced: Bersarin Quartett – Mehr als alles andere Bersarin Quartett – Im Lichte des Anderen They were added maybe two weeks ago.
I had removed my SD Card, forgot about this and tried to open Spotify. The app of course complains about the missing SD Card, so I quit Spotify and insert the card again. Then I have to login (which strangely enough works even though I am not connected to the Internet at first). And then: all my painfully downloaded offline songs are gone. (The Android folder on my SD Card still contains the files (some 1GB or so), but Spotify don't seem to care much about this.)
This happend a few weeks ago (sorry, no exact date). That time my offline files was erased after I've updated the app.
I would love if you could make it easier to do an advanced search from within the spotify desktop application. I know there is lot's of possibilities to make an advanced search, but I don't understand why you made it so geeky. It feels like 1980 to be forced to type diffrent strings in the search field, to perform an advanced search. Strings that's hard to remember and easy to forget.
A simple idea is to add an "Advanced search" link beside the search window, that leads to a page with all the diffrent search possibilities presented (so you can combine if needed). I am puzzled that you still have not made this task easier.
Please make advanced search simple!
Thanks in advance.
Is this case really solved? A lot of people still seems to have the problem!
(I've noticed, and experienced myself, that some threads are marked solved even though they are not. I didn't mark my own thread, for example...).
As stated in the subject, some of my friends have mystically disappered (I can see they are still at Spotify if I search for them). If I view a friend, I can't see any public playlists on their profile page, although I already have some of their lists subscribed. OS X 10.6.8 / Spotify v0.8.2.610.g090a06f8
Adios amigos! I've cancelled my subscription. Spotify, you had your chances. You guys should check out this little thing called Public Relations - you’re earning quite a lot of badwill in the Android crowd right now. But since you're not reading this forum, I suppose this tip will go unnoticed, as well as everything else in here. Your service is a joke, and I will gladly pay someone else for music until you fix the Android app. I won't hold my breath though… nothing happend so far.
I had these problems since about 1 1/2 month or so. I've written twice to Spotify, who so far has neglected my messages. Offline: Most of the time when using the app, I am forced into an offline-mode. It is not enabled in settings. It does not matter wether I'm on mobile connection or WiFi. Syncing: I found out that if I completely uninstall Spotify and all it's files, I will be online when I log in the first time. I can then sync songs ONCE. After that, I am forced into offline-mode again. If I occasionaly go online, Spotify won't sync any list at all, or worse... ...erase my music: Spotify claims that I have synced three devices, and then just erase all my offline songs. The thing is that I have only synced one device - my phone. This is of course VERY FRUSTRATING! I use a Samsung Galaxy S2 with Android v2.3.3.
