Cant connect to facebook

i have the windows 10 app for spotify and i click connect to facebook and it opens in the background. when i alt+ tab i can see its open but cant actually acess it. how can i fix this. also trying to link onb spotify website doesnt work

Just to confirm, does the same happen if you log into Facebook on your browser before launching Spotify?

Also, do you happen to have access to a different desktop/laptop you could use to see if it behaves the same?
