I have been paying for my own single account Spotify, but just now decided to go in as a family but it's under my sister's name. I am on it and all good. But can't figure out how to deactivate my original one ( or if I even have too). Don't want to keep paying when we are paying the family plan.... Help!

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community! We moved your post from the Chat section to the help boards as its content fits better here.

 

Keep in mind that once you join a plan, all subsequent payments on your account are made by the plan manager. Any remaining Premium time you’ve already paid for will be forfeited and there will be no further charges made to your account, so you won't need to cancel your individual subscription.
