I was charged $12.99 plus tax for Premium but I'm a student Please Help Me.

I am a student with a .edu email address. I am currently signed up for premium and didn't realize i qualified for a discount at the time. I also seem to have overpaid because I was billed $13.93 after taxes. I'm really confused and there doesn't seem to be an easy way to apply for the discount when you're already signed up. I signed up with my .edu email address. Would someone please be willing to assist me. I would also like to retain my playlists. From what i've read already I may need to delete my account but they were UK students with different links. Thanks in advance.

You might have subscribed to premium through the iPhone or iPad app. It costs $12.99 because Apple charges a fee

To cancel your subscription, you need to cancel it from iTunes. Your subscription is being handled by Apple.

Information on how to do this can be found here:

http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202039

Then, head on over to http://spotify.com/student to sign up for the student discount.

There is currently a glitch with the student discount page for some people, so if you need help

I suggest you contact support so they can help you
