Overcharged for Student Discount

I'm a college student and have been getting Spotify Premium at a discount. Usually it's $4.99 a month, but I just checked my bank statement and I was charged $9.99 for this month. I'm still a student, and have not changed my status or payment method. Why was I charged the extra amount this month?

Hey there @katiemarie22!

Your eligibility for Spotify Student discount has to be renewed every year. Go to www.spotify.com/student to re-up for it. The terms for this are in the fine print at the bottom. You get one year initially and can renew up to 3 times.

I have had the same problem this month and never received an email that my subscription needed to be renewed (even though the student discount FAQ says that I would). When I go to check my account to renew it, there's no option.
