Changing the username

I have this problem too. How can I change my username without having to create a new account? I ask because this account has the email I want to use.

Hi!

You won’t be able to change your username. You can only do this by closing your old account and create a new one.

This is what I have done previously. I've tried it for more than 3 times and it still wouldn't let me choose a username. And also does it matter from what device I create the account? And also there isn't any entry field for selecting/choosing a username.

Have you filled in the field "Whats's your name?"?
This was the one that gave me my username a while ago.

I did fill that field out, but this is what my username shows up as.
