Use premium account in Vietnam

Hi there!

Currently living in Vietnam, I am considering subscribing to Spotify Premium from my home country France where Spotify is available. I can also have a payment method from France.

It seems like there would no problem to listen to 'offline' music but what about searching for/loading new music? Would I be able to so even if Spotify is unavailable in Vietnam? By the way, I've been reading that Spotify might be available in the country quite soon, is there any official release date?

Premium subscribers can use Spotify anywhere in the world for as long as they like! 🙂

Spotify doesn't comment on questions about when exactly Spotify will be available in a specific country until it has actually happened 🙂

I am not particularly about using Spotify here but I am about downloading new tunes. I've read a few topics stating that it was not working in countries where Spotify is not available despite of having a premium account

If you subscribe in a country where the app's available, and you have this payment method, everything should be ok. You should be able to travel to Vietnam and still listen to your tunes! I'm afraid however I can't guarantee any more info.
