My Question or Issue
With the most recent update to Spotify on the Android platform, the buttons that allow 15sec skip forwards & skip backwards have disappeared on Android Auto when listening to podcsts. They have been replaced with a playback speed button to the left of the play button only. This is incredibly annoying because it does not allow skipping forwards or...more importantly...skipping backwards if something is missed.
However the skip forward & skip back buttons are there when using the app on the device itself. They are only missing from Android Auto.
Can this please be fixed?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Ok it appears this has been fixed with the latest update released overnight. The skip buttons are back in Android Auto.
Thanks Spotify!
Yes! This is incredibly frustrating and seems like a bug. There doesn't seem to be an intuitive reason as to why they were removed?

I think this is broken again.
You folks keep shuffling this stuff around.
Now the controls to go 15 forward and 15 back are there, but they are buried. More correctly, 15 forward is buried. You have to expand the menu (the stacked triple-dot icon) to have access to both 15 forward and 15 back, and your only choice while in map mode is next-track/previous-track.
If the point is to make this as hands free as possible fo people can focus on the road, this is a big fail.
There seems to be plenty of space in the UI to support both the forward/backward 15 buttons and next/previous track, but at a minimum, give me a config option to decide what displays.
Oh, and while you're in there, why not make it forward 15 and backward 10? Or even better forward 30 and back 10?

My Question or Issue
Previously it used to work fine but for a few months now, the music player (main window/canvas) does not show the Repeat or Shuffle buttons. It also doesn’t show the lyrics section anymore when it previously used to. The expand view button (two arrows) also doesn’t work. Please see screenshot attached
I have tried everything but nothing seems to work
I have tried the following:
1. Completely Uninstall (Delete Cache and App Data as well) and Reinstall the app
2. Logout multiple times and restart the device
3. Change the display size/display text of the device
4. Delete the downloaded songs
5. Check if the song has available lyrics? It does! Checked on my iOS and Desktop. It even shows lyrics tag on the playlist.
Yet nothing happens.
I checked the same on a friend’s Car infotainment android screen, it works there perfectly.
please solve this issue for me as it is really frustrating especially not to put a song on repeat one.
