Hi,
Hope someone can help.
When loading Spotify on my phone it asks for my login details, I select Login via Facebook. It connects to Facebook, logs me in, briefly shows me my downloaded playlists and then immediately bounces me back to a Spotify ad which says “Discover Great Music with your friends” and asks me to login again.
Steps I took are:
Selected Spotify on my Galaxy S2
Chose “login via Facebook”
What I expected to happen is for Spotify to load and give me my playlists to choose from
I have been through the “Troubleshooting Spotify on Android” and followed it pretty much to the letter. The only deviation I have had to make is that I cannot manually delete the com.spotify.mobile.android.ui folder. It seems the uninstall process deletes it.
I removed the battery as part of the restart process.
I have read the connection troubleshooting tips be don’t think they are relevant
Device is a Galaxy S2 running Android 4.0.4
I think I have a Premium account
Space left on phone is 10.8gb of 11.5gb
Space left on external SD card is 1.83gb of 1.86gb
Device is not rooted
No Custom ROM
External SD card NOT set as storage location
Have always used Spotify version from the App Store
Issue is common across both WiFi and 3g
Can’t get Spotify version – it’s whatever is on the App store today
Mobile provider is 3 (UK)
I use Facebook to login – I have changed my Facebook password and deleted all the registered devices
Thanks in advance
