Jams - glitching when others edit the queue

I am experimenting with the "Jam" feature. I love it - but whenever anyone touches the queue, the song playing glitches for a microsecond. It happens when people add songs from their phones. Really annoying. If it's an active jam its unlistenable.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Only on the participants' end - correct, the host is unaffected.

And as you can clearly see from other comments its not android issue only - its also on Windows application (cannot confirm for macOS).
Spotify versions:

• Android: 8.9.64.548

Same here. We have been facing the issue for a long time and it is very annoying. The songs are playing just fine for the jam owner it seems.

I also have the exact same problem & I installed the app like 3 times, 1 from the microsoft store (I'm on windows 10) and the other from the installer

When using the Jam feature, it likes to replay the current song when a song is added to the queue. Coincidentally, when the next song starts playing, without fail, a few seconds in the song will replay, but then continues playing without issues for the entirety of the song.

Every time i try to listen along with my gf, whe i first press on it the song pauses and starts at zero no matter where shes at on the song. then if she switches to a different song it is automatically paused alrighty and i have to manually unpause it and it doesnt auto sync up. i just want it to work because I just got premium for that, any help would be awesome. also ive already reinstalled spoitfy through ur website and ive alright disconnected and connected among other things

I have the same issue on all my devices: iphone 13, macbook and PC (Spotify for Windows (64 bit)
1.2.45.454.gc16ec9f6). All have the latest update of Spotify installed. Not sure if anyone else has mentioned, but any attempt on my end (as a participant) to modify my position in the song doesn't do anything- if it resets to the start, there is no way to skip ahead, it just keeps playing from the beginning until it cuts off midway as the host reaches the next song.

The issue about the Jam glitching when a song is added to the queue should now be fixed and it seems like the one you described is slightly different, so can you share some more information about what exactly happens? Can you also make sure that you're running the latest Spotify version on all your devices?

This issue is still happening. 

1. Song rewinds a few seconds every so often.

2. Song skips to the next one without any input.

3. Song restarts when a new one is added or removed.

4. Only listening with 1 other person remotely.

Why isn't this fixed? I'm spending my hard-earned money to listen to quality music and have Features like this get fixed in a timely manner, so it'd be good to see this fixed. I understand a moderator doesn't fix the code, but there needs to be changes.

P.s. as I write this, all 3 issues happened in a span of about a minute.

Still happening November 2024. 2 people in Jam. Both on Desktop using remote Jam. Host is working fine, Clients that are joined remotely have their songs reset to 0 seconds anytime host adds a song to queue. When client adds song to queue they reset as well.
