Podcast section not loading after plan change

Podcast section not loading after plan change

A few days ago I upgraded my account from the basic Duo to the family premium, and since then my wife (who was and continues to be registered to my household on Spotify) has not been able to access the podcast section of the Spotify app from the landing page on her Google pixel 8. It just goes black and doesn't do anything, it doesn't even look like it's loading (no spinny loading wheel, see attached screenshot). We have tried clearing the application cache and storage as well as uninstalling and reinstalling the app.

I have the exact same phone and don't have the issue at all

Hey @NeapolitanSixth,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.

If you changed the Premium plan recently and your wife has already joined the new plan, she should have all the content available. So in this case, we understand you’ve already tried some troubleshooting steps including reinstalling and clearing cache, but to be sure that we're on the same page - did she use the steps for a clean reinstall mentioned in this article? If not, give them a try to see if it makes any difference.

Also, would you mind suggesting to her to check on a different device (using her own account) to see if it makes any difference? If she doesn't have another one available, she can use yours or borrow one from a friend or family member to test it out.

Lastly, you mentioned in your previous post a screenshot of how things look at your end, but it was not attached to the message. Could you attach the image again to your next response so we can take a better look?

We’ll be on the lookout for your next response.
