ooh that must be what lets musixmatch work 🙂

Someone can explains this feature please?

"Fixed: When you next log in, Spotify will remember what you'd been listening to."

The playlist is not backuped when I close the application.

Thanks

Thanks

I believe it means that when you close the app, reboot, and then open it the last song that was playing will be ready for you to hit play again 🙂

Did something happen with accessing search queries that are in the form of a URL on a web page? Yesterday I had successfully been doing genre searches in the Android app using links on this page:

http://spotifygenres.blogspot.com/p/2-stepbritish-garage-aboriginal-folk.html

Genres with 2+ words were working fine. With the latest build I get no results for genre searches if the genre has 2+ words. I didn't change the file since yesterday, when it was last working.

Genre searches work ok if there is only 1 word.

edited to fix url.

I suspect this is an encoding issue. argh

Actually genres with more than one word don't seem to work on the desktop client either. Wonder if something else is broken? Let me see what I can find out and thanks for flagging this 🙂

It appears you need quote marks if its two words:

genre:"Aboriginal Rock" for example returns results.

I was just about to say:) And the blog doesn't seem to add those, as in....

African Folk

Fixed it (for now anyway... lol). Thanks again!

As for the Android update, thank you! This is the kind of update we like. Stuff wasn't taken away, only fixed and added. Filters and sorting has been working great for me (aside from one crash).

Cheers!

The record of the last played song doesn't always work.

thanks for finally adding sorting feature..! 🙂

After updating the app crashes. I have deleted all and installed twice. Still it crashes, the app is completely unusable. It was fine before.

Samsung galaxy s advance, android 2.3.6

This is a fantastic update - Being able to filter playlists is pretty much an essential feature !

Hi and welcome to the community. Please try the steps in this post to see if it fixes things for you.

Indeed.

I made several tries, following this process:

- play a song

- hit pause

- hit "home" to leave the app

- hit the "mutlitask" button and swipe the spotify app to kill it

- launch Spotify again

Two times out of three the app didn't remember what I was playing...

EDIT: it seems the "reply" button doesn't embed the message you are replying to. This was a reply to MCKLMT.

EDIT 2: I did several more tries and now it works all the time! Don't know what went wrong at the begining...

Awesome with the new sorting option, but it's only possible to sort the track names? It's the artist names that I want sorted...
