Spotify reporting full SD card when not - LG G3 (D855, 16GB)

Hi.

Trying to save my music onto my new LG G3 (D855, 16GB) for offline use, but since the "Offline syncing has stopped" message has appeared, no further tracks are syncing. There is still 7GB left on my phone's internal storage and 14GB free on the SD card.

I believe Spotify is using my SD card for storage as a look within the phone's settings reveal it is currently using 1.96GB.

Looking on the PC is slightly more confusing, Spotify is referencing the external storage of my G3 by saying all 29.7GB are used (the size of my SD card, not internal storage as I have a 16GB phone) but then still goes on to say quite rightly that there is still 14GB of space.

Any ideas on how to solve so I can continue to sync my music?

Try uninstalling the app and searching for any left-over folders, such as /ext_sd/Android/data/com.spotify.mobile/ and remove these.

Now making sure your SD card is in the phone and has more space han the internal (0) memory, re-install the app. This should set the cache location as your ext_sd card
