Spotify unable to move past ad

Every time I go to play a playlist and it does the 30 minutes ad free, it plays this gap ad. Except, it doesn't play an ad it just shows an ad screen for 7 seconds then just stops. You can play the 7 seconds over and over, but there is no way to get out of it. The only way is to restart my phone, even closing the app doesn't help. And that only works until I select a new playlist then again the same "ad". It doesn't necessarily freeze the ap, it just gets stuck on this ad. I'm able to navigate around, of course if I try and select another play list it tells me get premium (not the issue). AGH.
