Trouble with Bluetooth car autoplay

Dear all,
I'm using Spotify for Android connected with a Bluetooth car device. My problem is that when the car connects to my phone the default music player starts automatically and not Spotify as I wish.
If I have Spotify opened and paused it works as expected resuming its playlist.
I tried to check the default music app in Android settings, but here I can only choose between the default music player and Google Music.
I'm using a Huawei P10lite with android 7.
