No Spotify in the Bahamas

Why there is no Spotify in The Bahamas for new registration? 

It's weird and frustrating when you receive your new company iPhone and when you just about to download the app.. The response was "the service is not available in your country"

There is an idea proposed back in 2014 for this however it seems that it requires 100 votes?

Working in the 8th most espensive country to live in (as per a survey?) this is something kinda annoying!
