DISCOVERIES OF THE WEEK (ONLY LAST)

Dear Spotify Team,

I hope this message finds you grooving to some fantastic tunes! As a devoted Spotify user, I've been jamming out to my **Discover Weekly** playlists religiously. They're like little musical gifts delivered to my ears every Monday—a delightful mix of old favorites and fresh discoveries.

However, there's a tiny hiccup that's been causing me some serious heartache. You see, sometimes a particular week's Discover Weekly playlist is pure magic. The songs resonate with my soul, and I find myself hitting the repeat button more times than I can count. But alas, as the week turns, so does my beloved playlist. Poof! It disappears into the digital abyss, leaving me with a sense of loss akin to misplacing a cherished vinyl record.

Now, I don't want to sound melodramatic, but this situation gives me **tremendous hate** (yes, that's a thing) and an inexplicable urge to throw my headphones across the room. 🎧💔

So, here's my humble request: **Could we please have a way to access previous weeks' Discover Weekly playlists?** Imagine the joy of revisiting those hidden gems—the tracks that made us dance in the kitchen, sing in the shower, and air-drum at our desks. It's like finding a long-lost mixtape from a dear friend.

Here's how it could work:

1. **Playlist Time Machine**: Create a magical button (okay, maybe not magical, but you get the idea) that lets us scroll back in time. Clicking it would reveal the Discover Weekly playlists from the past few weeks. We could relive the musical journey and even add our favorite tracks to permanent playlists.

2. **Archived Playlists**: Instead of bidding farewell to our weekly discoveries, let's archive them. A dedicated section within the app could house all our past Discover Weekly playlists. We'd name it something cool, like the "Hall of Grooves."

3. **Nostalgia Mode**: Picture this: It's a rainy Sunday afternoon, and you're feeling nostalgic. Open Spotify, select "Nostalgia Mode," and voilà! You're transported back to that epic Discover Weekly from three months ago. Cue the happy tears.

4. **The "Why Did You Leave Me?" Playlist**: Okay, maybe that's a dramatic name, but hear me out. A personalized playlist that combines all the songs we loved but lost. It's like a musical reunion—a chance to rekindle our sonic romance.

In conclusion, dear Spotify wizards, let's make this happen. Let's turn heartache into harmony, frustration into funky beats, and lost playlists into legendary memories. 🎶

Feel free to sprinkle some magic code, wave your musical wands, and grant us the gift of eternal playlists. We'll be forever grateful.

Sincerely,
A Dedicated Music Lover 🎵

Hey @mrblackoutz,

Thanks for bringing your feedback to the Idea Exchange!

We’re closing this idea since it doesn’t meet one of our Idea Exchange guidelines, namely point 3: One change request per Idea”.

When one post includes several feature requests, it becomes hard to keep track of and update them. If you have more than one idea, you can make a new idea submission for each one. This way we’ll know exactly which idea folks are voting for.

Remember that you can save your Discover Weekly playlist by using the Add to Other Playlist option. By selecting it, you can create a playlist with all the tracks on that selection of the Discover Weekly or add them to an existing playlist.

Feel free to submit your idea(s) again, making sure that it adheres to the above guidelines.

Thanks for understanding.
