Why the **bleep** is starting on launch a default? And why is it configured through the app preferences rather than macOS preferences?
This is antagonistic towards your users. Whatever developer or designer who decides this was a good idea is either an **bleep** or somebody without a sense of empathy and the ability to see for themselves what is best for the consumer. I'm hoping for the former, but I'm leaning toward the latter.
Not as if anybody is going to notice this. If you want to retain users and artists focus on UI and the reasonable expectations of those users (such as "if the app doesn't show up in macOS login items, it won't be started on login"). That's not to mention the legality of it in certain EU states.
